The internationalization of higher education in Primorsky region: retrospective and perspective

The article presents a retrospective analysis of international activities of the Primorsky region universities after the collapse of the USSR. The author identifies the three main stages of the internationalization of higher education in the region and reveals the essence of each of them. Particular attention is given to the forms and directions of international cooperation between the Primorsky and foreign universities in each of the stages.
